EV (Electric Vehicle) permit shows the location of EV charger on the site plan. It also gives you single line diagram for the EV charger. This permit contains a general reference to the NEC or electrical code used in the jurisdiction. All work and installed equipment will comply with the requirements of the NEC or the electrical code used in the jurisdiction. The jurisdiction maintains the authority/responsibility to conduct any inspections deemed necessary to protect public safety. The charging station installer shall also be responsible for notifying or coordinating any work with the utility company where needed.
